When I found the anchor necklace, I knew I needed to get it for my friend. It was perfect, with a small pearly hanging off of it, and for the customized part I decided to put her name, though I struggled with that - thinking that I could put her graduation date - though Sal advised me against that. I think it came out perfect, and I couldn't be more happy with it! When I ordered it, I was afraid that I wasn't going to get it in time though, but it came on the Friday before the party, and I couldn't have been happier!

When I got to the graduation party, I made my friend open it immediately. She loved it and asked me to put it on her right away! I was ecstatic, especially when she walked outside to show her mom!
It was sad though, because I was told that she would be moving to Hawaii for her job in China this summer, which meant that we had less time to see each other! I wasn't surprised because she had told me that she had applied all over, and of course she would get the job because she's extremely smart and great at what she does. Even though I'm going to miss her, I know that she'll be back often, and that this is what she was meant to do!
